We’ll use monitoring equipment to track heart rate, oxygen levels, blood pressure, and other vital signs. Our doctor will perform the surgery as planned. Whether it’s a routine spay/neuter or a more complex operation, our team takes every precaution to ensure your pet’s safety. After surgery, we’ll move your pet to a recovery room, where they are closely monitored until they wake from anesthesia. We’ll provide you with updates throughout the day.
- Post-surgery: Your pet may be groggy or disoriented from the anesthesia. This is normal and typically improves within a few hours. Our veterinary team will ensure your pet is stable before discharge. Before you leave, we’ll provide detailed aftercare guidelines covering wound care, activity restrictions, medication schedules, and dietary advice. We’ll also schedule follow-up appointments to monitor healing and remove sutures if necessary. As your pet heals, offer plenty of love, patience, and comfort to help them feel safe during recovery.
